The song "Proverbs & Prayer" was soft dropped today on my music page and socials! It will release to all streaming platforms as a single along side the Songwriter Sessions EP on July 31st! "I Talk Tough" was originally scheduled to release Aug 14th but I pushed it back to August 28th to give the July 31st releases more room.

"Songwriter Sessions" mini 4 song EP is set to release on July 31st, and "I Talk Tough" single is set to release on August 28th to all streaming platforms.

"City Lights" topped the Broadjam charts today! #1 on Folk-Country, Texas, & Female Production and #7 on Folk. This meant so much to me because the song is quite personal."Love On My Own" is also back on the charts with #1 Pop-Classic, #2 Pop, #3 Texas, and #6 Female Production. This one is also an important song to me. Both of these songs are from deep personal places in life; it's nice to see them resonate so well.

"Heaven's Light" is a soulful rock love song feat a raspy male vocal. It jumped onto 3 more Broadjam charts overnight. It's now on Earth (international), North America, U.S., Texas, Rock, Rock Classics, and Male Vocal Production. It's been holding the #1 spot on Rock Classics for 20 weeks straight. When I sample ran it on Soundcloud for a more public response, it got 1.38K listens and was added to multiple playlists.

Official release date of Songwriter Sessions vinyl. It's a collection of my 2026 demos to date. This season was such a pivotal time in life where music filled space, shuttled me through changes and closures, reignited joy after grief, opened new doors, extended and introduced skills and connections, and my favorite - brought me full circle by colliding two completely different eras and versions of myself together, quite cohesively, as I enter a third. And THAT was the most fulfilling part of it all. The vinyl is more for my own collection but available for purchase. Link available on my Broadjam page very soon.

My song "Watching Waves" made Top 5 in a songwriter's contest, and "City Lights" continues to collect 5 star ratings and positive reviews as a nostalgic fan favorite.

I completed my song "City Lights" and posted to Broadjam. This song is quite personal and nostalgic for me which has made it my favorite atm.

My song "Love On My Own" debuted on three more charts! - Earth (International), North America, & US Top 10 Charts! It's currently on 6 charts - the 3 above + Pop, Pop Classic, and Texas Top 10s.

I had enough performance points at work to cash out for the Jimi Hendrix strat I've been eyeing. That was a dream! Also, Old Red came home with some fresh fret work and some new 8s. Additionally, I played guitar with Marcelo today (amazing guitarist). We play on Tuesdays now. I had a very guitar week. 🎸

My 30 year old strat, Old Red, went in for some repairs, and I ended up coming home with a new acoustic guitar, Oakley.

I completed my song "Watching Waves" and posted to Broadjam. I wrote the lyrics to this song on the beach watching the waves, and completed a lot of the production in the hotel room.

I found a copy of an old 1969 record of my grandfathers for sale. My grandmother was the songwriter on the track. I'm so excited to have come across this sweet treasure. Look forward to receiving that soon.

My song, Guardians, placed Top 5 in a songwriters contest for June 2026. It will be honorably mentioned in Songwriter's Universe.

I was up until 1am to finish my song for the listening party. Then up at 5am for work. 😜. We went a bit comedic country. I Talk Tough.

What a project! This was so fun, and I learned so much about coding and troubleshooting. Now I have this magical piece of art on the net. There's some tweaking that needs to be done but on another day! I think it's time for some dessert and a movie or that crash doc on netflix everyone is talking about. My brain is ready for some passive entertainment. ✨

Today felt a little retro. Building this page took me through a highlight reel of my life as photos lead to memories and html coding reminded me of myspace. What great times! It made me smile. 📷

Today, I'm grateful for breakfast tacos and iced lattes. That's the way I begin most mornings. Sometimes with a friend at a taco truck park; sometimes right at home. Today, it was cozily at home. 🌮🧋
