my story 🎵
I grew up on the Texas coast and migrated to Austin thereafter. I love being on the water - lakes, boats, beaches, or outdoors in general. I work from home as a financial analyst. I love my job and work family. I also love my community of people in both the ATX and my hometown. Interest wise, music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I found my voice as a songwriter at 11, and it's always been a creative outlet for me. I do it for fun.
Additionally, I’m a life enthusiast and engage in all kinds of hobbies and interests. I've done the extreme kind, which is exhilarating, but I'm more of a new horizons person than an adrenaline junkie. I love to see new places, try new foods, and engage in physical activities in new settings.
I'm a quiet, comedic, bit unconvential, curious type of soul. There's just so much to do and see on borrowed time! Life can disappoint, break your heart, and even leave you for broke sometime, but all the good things happen here too. I have my seasons of rest, but I, otherwise, try not to sit it out!

I'm a songwriter, guitarist, and play a bit of piano and uke. I can hit the money beat on a drum pad and a couple of deviations to get a beat going, but that's about it. Def enjoy outsourcing that along with vocals. I have written across genres, but my latest songwriter's muse seems to be circling back around to my childhood roots of country/folk crossover. I love the storytelling of country music. My classic pop song 'Love On My Own' won best song of the month in a songwriter's contest. It is currently being promoted by Tinderbox Music in sync libraries for MTV, E!, and other syndicated media. It, along with others, is currently featured on multiple Top 10 Charts. My favorite thing about that song is that it's a reminder that deep heartbreak can be the event that catapults into a winning season full of adventure and new rooms. Life does go on, beautifully.
